Nitrous Oxide
Nitrous Oxide, also know as "laughing gas," is an odorless, colorless gas which is meant to have a calming effect on the patient during treatment. The feeling is most often described as being relaxed, unconcerned, happy, slightly numb, and disconnected from whats happening around them. Nitrous Oxide should be avoided during pregnancy, when a person has an inner ear infection, or when a person has asthma.

Novocain
Novocain is given as an injection and causes the tooth and surrounding area to become numb. Our office offers several different forms of local anesthetic to meet different medical needs.
* For the extremely apprehensive patient we also have walkmans so that you can listen to the relaxing CD or cassette of your choice.
